News update

Some great news tonight, three items in fact.

No 1 on the list has to be Nick, our coach and Mitch a new archer are off to learn more about Adaptive Archery with the Sport Director from the French Handisport Federation to Lilleshall National Sports Centre. Vincent has a long and successful career introducing new people to archery as well as coaching the French national para team. Both coach and archer are keen to learn more and demonstrate a method of checking arrows. Long live technology!

No 2 on the list is our club involvement with Disability Sport Wales. We have been invited to demonstrate Archery and run a try archery session for the Insport Series aimed at getting more people in to sport … Archery … And other sports too.

3rd on the list is our new club banners have arrived and have been on display for the first time. It was typical that a power cut had closed most of the leisure center and only archery was taking place. At least we have them now and they will be up in the future.

Thank you to Bethan and the team at “True Design and Print” for all the work they have done to produce a roller  banner, fence  banner and posters for our club. The  club logo had to be redesigned, drawn and the lettering added as the images we had weren’t that good, would have been blurred and not good quality. Both will be added to the gallery when they arrive.
